The Hospital Manager

Governance & Management

The Manager is the chief accounting officer who provides leadership and is responsible for the day to day running of the hospital. He is also responsible for the implementation of the policies and strategic goals designed by the board for the efficient and effective running of the hospital.
Collaborating Doctors
The hospital does not directly employ the physicians, radiographers, pathologists, anaesthetists/anaesthesiologists and paramedics among others, and services offered by such disciplines are outsourced.

It is primarily a facility at which all private doctors with verified professional credentials, are given an opportunity to admit and treat their patients in collaboration with our nurses, as per documented and signed agreements.

Collaborating doctors are perceived to be competent professionals equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge, registered and regulated by their respective professional bodies such as the statutory Lesotho Dental, Medical and Pharmacy Council.

These doctors and allied medical professionals are independent practitioners, and are therefore contractually liable in person for any professional malpractice they may commit over a patient admitted at the hospital. As such they are expected to have their own insurance cover.
